That's Micheal Malone with Mr. Peanut! Michael is our current club President at the the Kiwanis Club of Toledo.
Kiwanis Peanut Day began in Chicago in September 1951 with 8 clubs participating. With limited publicity and experience, these 8 clubs managed to raise more than $18,000 in one day! Since then, over $60,000,000 has been raised by Kiwanis Clubs through the Peanut Sale program. The Kiwanis Peanut Sale has become the most successful coordinated fund raising program in Kiwanis history.
